Change your Krak Stack plan

    Updated 23 October 2026

Move up or down a tier, change product: what is charged, when, and what can block the change.

6 questions answered in this guide.

You can change product (Trading or Trading + Leasing) or tier yourself, from the Billing page. The change applies at once.

    Steps

    1. Open Settings > Billing.
    2. In the Change plan section, find the card of the plan you want. Your current plan carries the Current plan badge.
    3. Click Upgrade (more expensive plan) or Switch to this plan (cheaper plan).
    4. Read the confirmation message, which recalls the price and the billing rule, then click Confirm.

    Good to know

    • Moving up: the new plan starts now. The difference for the rest of the current month is charged today to your payment method. The pro rata invoice appears in your history.
    • Moving down: the new plan starts now, and its price applies from your next invoice. The current month is not refunded.
    • A plan is blocked if you have more users than it allows (extra users included). Remove users first.
    • A plan is also blocked if your fleet has more containers than its limit. Sold or retired containers do not count.
    • The Enterprise plan is not self-service: it is quoted with Ask for an Enterprise quote.
    • Pro rata charges apply to card payment. If you pay by wire transfer, open a ticket for any question on the amount due.
    • Only administrators can change plan.
    • If the payment provider refuses the change, nothing is modified. Check your card and try again.

    Frequently asked questions

How much will I pay if I move up mid-month?

Only the price difference for the remaining days of the current month, charged at once. The next month, you pay the full new price.

If I move down, am I refunded?

No. The current month stays at the current price, the new price applies to the next invoice.

Why is there no button on a plan?

The card shows a message instead, with the reason: too many users or too many containers for that plan.

Can I move from Trading to Trading + Leasing?

Yes, the same way: choose a Trading + Leasing card.

I have more than 5,000 containers. What should I do?

Ask for an Enterprise quote from the Billing page.

Is my data affected by a plan change?

No. Only the price and the limits change.
