Depots and depot reports

Know what sits in every depot, and what it costs you

Every container stay is counted from the gate dates, priced with the depot's own tariff, and checked against the stock reports the depots already send you.

    What you can do

    Depot stays

Each container's days in depot, free days and storage cost to date, open or closed.

    Tariffs per depot

A grid per container type plus fixed fees, exported in one click.

    Stock reports read for you

CSV, Excel or PDF reports, uploaded or read from a dedicated mailbox.

    Gate emails and EIR

Single gate-in and gate-out emails and EIR PDFs become a line to confirm.

    Right depot, every time

Each report is matched to its depot by sender, name or subject.

    Formats learnt once

Confirm a report layout once, it then applies to every depot using it.

    What does not match

Boxes the depot reports but you do not have, and the reverse, in one queue.

    Silent depots

The depots that have stopped sending reports stand out.

    Record in one click

Confirm a pickup or a drop-off straight from the report line.

    How it works

    01

    The depot sends its report

To your usual address, forwarded to your Krak Stack mailbox, or uploaded.

    02

Krak Stack reads and matches it

Each line against your open releases, returns and stock.

    03

    You confirm the differences

One click records the movement, the stay and its cost follow.

    In practice

    Example

A depot in Antwerp charges 3 free days, then a daily storage rate per 40 ft, plus handling in and out. A container enters on 1 June and leaves on 10 June: it spent 10 days at the depot (both days count), 3 are free, 7 are billable. Krak Stack shows on the container record "10 d · 3 free · 7 billable" and the depot cost to date, and adds the departure handling when the container leaves. At month end, the depot sends its stock report: you upload it and compare what the depot declares with your open releases and returns.

    In detail

    • One stay per visit. A stay opens when a container enters a depot (creation, import or drop-off) and closes when it leaves (pickup). Each stay is open or closed, billable or not.
    • Tariffs per type. Each depot has free days, a daily storage rate and handling charges per container type, plus fixed fees: numbered releases, stock transfers and photos.
    • Cost of a stay. Arrival handling + daily rate × billable days, then departure handling at exit, plus photo and release fees when they apply. Costs are entered in the depot's currency and converted into yours.
    • Depot stock reports. Upload a CSV, XLSX or PDF report, or let reports arrive by email: the sender, display name or a word in the subject attribute them to the right depot. Nothing changes in your operations until someone validates a line.
    • What is where. The depot record lists the containers at the depot, booked, dropping off or with a client, and the monthly activity, which you can export.
    • Spot the gaps. A filter finds the depots without a tariff grid, so that no stay is costed at zero by mistake.
